ಬದುಕಿನ ದಾರಿಯುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ
ನಡೆದು ನಡೆದು ಸೋತಿವೆ ಕಾಲ್ಗಳು
ಸಿಗಲಿಲ್ಲಸಮಯ ಈವರೆವಿಗೂ
ಕುಳಿತು ದಣಿವಾರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು
ಹೊತ್ತು ಸಾಕಾಯ್ತುನೂರೆಂಟುಹೊಣೆಗಳು
ಇನ್ನು ನಡೆಯಲಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುತಿವೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು
ಇಗೊ ಕಂಡಿತೊಂದು ನೆಲೆ
ತುಸು ಹೊತ್ತುಕುಳಿತುಬಿಡುವೆನಿಲ್ಲೆ
ಸಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ದೂರವೆಷ್ಟು?
ಹೊತ್ತು ನಡೆದ ಭಾರವೆಷ್ಟು?
ದಕ್ಕಿತೆಷ್ಟು ಸುಖ ದುಖ್ಖ?
ಸಿಗುತಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅದರ ಲೆಕ್ಕ
ಇನ್ನುಳಿದ ದಾರಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕ
ಅದುವೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪಕ್ಕ.
ಉಳಿದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದಾರಿ ಕ್ರಮಿಸೆ
ಶಕ್ತಿ ನೀಡು ಪ್ರಭುವೆ
ಮರಣವಿರಲಿ ಅನಾಯಾಸ
ನಿನ್ನೆಡೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಬಿಡುವೆ.
Tired of walking all the way
without taking rest or gap
almost the end of lifes journey
legs praying please stop plz stop
my feet not willing to move
tired of all burden carried all the way
thank God found a spot to rest
will rest here for few minutes
sitting here i am brooding
over the days of my past
sitting here i am wondering
what all i gained and have lost
Trying to calculate
what all sorrows troubles i faced
trying to recall, remember
all happy moments i enjoyed
i cant rest here for long i know
as still some more journey is left
the rest of my journey is very short i know
would like to walk on my own to complete
Have mercy oh my dear Lord
dont make the end of my journey hard
